1. Joining Gather
Gather is an online resource hub developed by The Bouverie Centre, a family therapy and research centre of La Trobe University.
Gather is a useful self-guided educational resource which can help many people with ideas. It is not a substitute for professional mental health support.
The Information we collect and how it is used:
To create an account, we ask for: your name; email address; password; and some basic demographic information.
As people use Gather, we also collect information about: resources and activities they access; their use of platform features; feedback they choose to provide; technical information about their access to the platform.
This information is used to: provide and improve Gather; understand how the platform is being used, evaluate the effectiveness of resources and activities; support service development and quality improvement; report to funders and stakeholders and support research, presentations and publications.
When we use information for evaluation, reporting or research, we will remove identifying details and combine it with information from other people, so no individual can be identified.
